The aim of this investigatory Master thesis – is to analyze the distribution of vehicles in the object under study and provide two scenarios for infrastructure changes, which would solve current problems and increase the traffic efficiency in the analyzed junction. Analyzed junction has been divided into four sections according to traffic flow distribution, street category and number of traffic lanes. Traffic flow data of morning (07:30 -08:30 AM) and evening (16:30-17:30 PM) peaks, which is used in this Master thesis, has been collected from junction’s traffic light controller database. The data has been collected on the 21st of March, 2018 (Wednesday). |
