The theoretical part of the thesis observes sources and conducts survey which is the basis of the investigation of the impacts of water on paper in question, its resistance to bending and the attainable quality of the printing. With reference to the study performed, the analysis of absorption, mechanical and colour properties of synthetic paper has been carried out. The part of the technological design consists of technological production scheme of digital printing on synthetic paper, selection of necessary equipment and description of processes of production. Moreover, the quantity of devices, materials and employees is calculated according to production of certain products. In respect to the results, the area of the premises is measured and the plan of the printing house is designed.
