Abstract [eng] |
Master‘s final project analyses the purses of financial social assistance in Lithuania through Raseiniai district Municipality case. Changes in demographic trends (increasing number of people in retirement, declining birth rates, migration and emigration processes, etc.) and the lack of social and economic inequalities oblige the countries to look at guidelines for sustainable policy development (social security). Therefore, from the macro level (general social conditions and assumptions) to the level of the individual (actual use of social resources), the transition of the community level (specific opportunities, the service infrastructure and quality) highlights those changes. The means by which the solidarity mechanism is created between the various layers of mankind (either lost the income from work or who has had enormous costs (loss of breadwinner, emergency medical aid in case of illness, etc.) is being developed and improved by the modern system of social security. Therefore, special attention, in order to focus on the work problems, is devoted to financial social support for deprived people. The aim of the research is to analyze complexly the provision of financial social support and reveal reasons (through the problem tree: the consequences – the reasons for certain conditions (factors)) due to their impact on the social security system. |
