Abstract [eng] |
This paper reviews electric drives, their power supplies, and examples from other countries using electric vehicles in public transport. The public transport of Kaunas city is analyzed. From the existing bus routes, the most attractive electric drives are selected, taking into account the advantages and disadvantages of the electric motor. The study is conducted on the chosen route, measuring the speed of the bus at each time. The study calculates the energy costs needed to overcome this route. The selected route requires 53.46 kWh of electricity. Using the calculation results, the cost of electric and diesel fuel for one kilometer is compared. Price of diesel bus for 1 kilometer is 0,44 Eur, Electric 0,13 Eur. After estimating the possibility of electric regeneration, this amount decreases to 0.07 Eur. In the end, you can see the models of electric buses and the bus model suitable for the route under study. |
