In this master‘s thesis an investigation of adjustable height and mechanical properties shock absorbers are carried out. The literature review provides information on the subject of the project. Using the „BTP 2000„ dynamometer, damper properties were investigated by changing the position of the controller. The linear dependence of the spring force and displacement exist. Correlation analysis and point scatter graphs verify the validity of the results. Shock absorber and displacement sensor fixation in the car is described. The shock absorber movement was determined at different turns and driver notes were provided of how the car's handling changed after changing the characteristics of the damper. Recommendations are made for the adjustment of shock absorbers and the conclusions are presented. |
