The object of the Master Thesis‘s is factors of national competitiveness and transport sector in Central and Eastern Europe countries. The aim of the Thesis is to identify preconditions based on country competitive advantages for transport sector development in CEE. The main results of work. The main idea of the work – the connection among national level and transport sector factors was confirmed for each of the ten countries during the analysis. Preconditions for transport sector development in Central and Eastern Europe countries are provided for each country seperately. Slovenia is the country which had the most preconditions defined. Czech Republic had only one main precondition defined during the analysis. It was impossible to define similarities of region countries as each country is unique and has different values of the analyzed factors with different trends of change. However, one of the most important factors for majority of analysed countries was change of gross domestic product, as it has direct impact on factors of transport sector. |
