The problem of the research is that there is a lack of information and evaluation of sharing economy models from a competitive point of view, therefore, it is important to analyze the competitive advantages of sharing economy models. To answer the questions, what are the competitive advantages of sharing economy models in comparison with the evaluations of consumers and service providers, and what factors influence them? The purpose of the research is to identify and evaluate competitive advantages of sharing economy models and their formation conditions considering consumers and service providers. The main results of the research revealed that the sharing economy models has competitive advantages, which enable the growth of sharing economy activities, consumers and service providers are willing to use the sharing economy models, moreover, profitable activities generate revenues, sharing economy activities are environmentally friendly, efficiently used resources allow additional earnings, lower cost of the performance because of the newest technologies and online platforms usage, all these factors are sharing economy models competitive advantages. The research helped to identify the factors that have the greatest, medium and minimum impact on the competitive advantages of sharing economy models. Due to the lack of statistical data on the fragmentation of the sharing economy models, the use of survey and expert evaluation methods allowed to perform not only quantitative but also qualitative evaluations, which made the study more diverse. |
