Abstract [eng] This Master’s final thesis is dedicated to the analysis of samples, sampling and samplers. And overview of their historical development, and the study of the possibilities of use, variations in the historical and cultural context. In the first part of this work there is a brief overview of the historical development of samples and samplers, as well as introducing ups and downs in terms of consumer demand. The most famous writers and composers of certain age are discussed, which, precisely because of the use of this technological option or its original version, have contributed significantly to the development of electronic music to the extent that we can see now. The first part consists of three smaller main parts: the first one is about the historical stage of the samples and sampler, first tests and beginnings. Second one is about the development of samples and semplers, an overview of the next step of history which has been opened with first rebellious ideas and efforts to invent something even more new. Based on later examples of music and culture, hip-hop and other “underground” music analysis reveals role of samples and sampling in an unpopular underground music culture. The concept of plunderphonics and an idea that is basically the analogous example of the introduction of ready-made objects into the world of art in the history of music as a representative of visual arts, Dushamp, is an analysis of the idea of legalization and formal recognition as existing and possible as one of the ways to create, but not just a case of cultural vandalism. Finally, consistently going to the examples of recent times, including the example of Lithuanian Antanas Kucinskas, , and others, who are using sampling and samplers in creative way. The last part of the first part reviews the samplers themselves and their types, methods of compilation and technologies. The second part presents the idea and maine concept of the practical part, the work “Metamorphosis\", inspired by the “aesthetics of boredom” and the desire to convey the musical work as a reflection of a personality and its state, a certain form of self-expression, strongly influenced by existential conditions. In this case the influence of environmental sounds is very important and the use of sounds as the main component of the composition - samples and their symbolism, a simple ambient sound can become an integral part of the composition and reveal pyridoxal metamorphosis .
