The final thesis presents public use – expo pavilion roof load-bearing structure design and lateral buckling analysis. Three hinged arch of 60 meters length use based on literature. The thesis provides ridge and foundation connections design for glulam arch. Finite elements model is designed to compare six different bracing elements behavior. The results of FEM analysis provides economical and stability recommendations of bracing use. The thesis suggests better bracing use for lateral buckling stability increase. |
