In order to create a good investment climate in the country or region, the government and municipalities must apply appropriate governance and public sector organization. Institutional factors influence the choice of investors to invest in the state, the specific place of the state (region, municipality), in which it is most favorable and beneficial for it to do so. The results of the research are important due to the fact that the largest investment flows are concentrated in the major cities of the country. Small regions are not sufficiently prepared to compete successfully with major cities. This research will help to reveal the general tendencies and issues related to the investment environment of the Taurage district municipality and to identify the attitude of the employees and business representatives of the municipality towards the main obstacles to business development that hinder the attraction of investments.The purpose of this work is to investigate investment climate development problems in Tauragė district municipality. The main objectives of the research are: 1. To analyze theoretical aspects of investment environment assessment in the context of the public sector; 2. To analyze the situation of Lithuania's investment climate in the international context; 3. To analyze the investment climate in Taurage district municipality and identify problems. Research methods: analysis of scientific literature, secondary data analysis, statistical analysis, legislation, comparative analysis, survey. |
