Science literature regards that the use of BIM contributes to the optimization of building life cycle, although there is an observed decrease in productivity when using BIM in the construction phase. The negative effect is associated with difficulties with new technologies integration, high software prices, misunderstanding the process of BIM. The aim of the study is to determine the main problems the lowers the productivity of work in construction sites when applying BIM, present recommendations and a conclusion. |
