This final master project presents the design of 35 000 tons per years capacity plastic waste pyrolysis unit. During this final project, analysis on scientific and technological literature on plastic pyrolysis was conducted, and the dependence of the composition of products obtained during the pyrolysis of different types of plastic on process parameters were investigated. Mass and energy balance for the main process reactor was fully developed. Structural, thermal technological constructional, and economic calculations were performed. Occupational safety measures were fully determined, and environmental impact assessment (EPA) was carried out. Drawings for the site plan, main unit and technological scheme were provided in A1 format. |
