Abstract [eng] This thesis explores the potential of virtual reality (VR) goggles for the control of robotic manipulators. The study provides an overview of the feasibility and effectiveness of using VR technology as a tool to improve the control interface of robotic systems. Prototype system has been developed to control an ABB robotic manipulator using a VR glasses application. By exploring robot control using this application, the aim is to identify the advantages and limitations of using VR glasses for robotic manipulation tasks.
