In order to find out which scientific method of acquiring solar power plants is the most effective, a life cycle sustainability assessment of two types of solar power plants is performed and evaluated. Based on the literature, methodological instructions and calculations for life cycle sustainability assessments of solar power plants are summarized. The annual and life cycle generated electricity of solar power plants, module degradation and seasonality are simulated. The ecologically and economically profitable method of acquiring a solar power plant and its system is evaluated. Target objects are selected for the study that correspond to current trends. The location, direction and weather data package of the objects are chosen identically to achieve maximum accuracy of the results. End-of-life scenarios of the system are selected, the consequences of which are assessed by economic and ecological indicators. |
