The main objective of this work is to develop and evaluate a secure internet traffic encryption method designed for autonomous vehicle communication. The study analyzes contemporary network encryption technologies and their suitability for real-time transportation systems, emphasizing efficiency, security, and ease of deployment. The prototype developed integrates the WireGuard virtual private network protocol, TPM-based private key management, and a TLS-based authentication mechanism. Experiments have demonstrated that the proposed method ensures an effective balance of performance and security, architectural flexibility, and suitability for real-time transportation systems. |
