Abstract [eng] In recent years, the labor market has become increasingly dynamic, driven by global events such as technological advancements and the integration of artificial intelligence, demographic changes, and rising wages. These factors are not only changing working conditions, but also raising expectations among employees, encouraging them to rethink their career choices and seek greater work-life balance. Research shows that more and more people are choosing to voluntarily change their career path in order to make their personal goals match their professional aspirations. Although the reasons for changing career path have been studied, it is useful to gain further insights (approaching the issue from a human resource management perspective) that will help organizations more effectively manage employee turnover, strengthen their engagement, and create a more sustainable work environment. Furthermore, as today's labor market is characterized by rapid change and high employee turnover, human resource professionals have to improve their understanding of employees’ needs, adapt to the changing environment, and develop strategies that promote employee engagement and loyalty.
