Abstract [eng] |
The project involves the development of finite element model for a piezoelectric material. The material used in this research work is PZT (Lead Zirconate Titanate) which is a widely used PZT Ceramic material because of its lower cost and versatility design. Different fabrication method has been carried out for the construction of the PZT element. A screen-printing technique was used for the preparation of specimen to apply a smooth and equal thickness of the formed thin films of thickness 1. 2µm.An electrical pole alignment technique was applied to improve the voltage characteristics of the PZT element. Theoretical and experimental calculations were made using Finite element method. The results of from the simulations were compared with the results from theoretical and experimental calculations. |
