In today’s market amount of robots that helps workers in window installation is increasing. The result of help of these robots are reduced physical labor of workers and increased speed of glass package installation process. Most of these robots are controlled manually, therefore window installation process lasts longer and because of human resources there is possibility of damaging packet of the window that is being installed. As a solution for this problem this research was made and the purpose of it is to automate and modernize the movements of glass package installing robots. In this final project of magister studies review of tools and devices that are used to help during installation process were made. The ways of glass panel installation using robots are discussed in detail. Prototype of installation robot is introduced. Trajectories of glass panel top and bottom parts movement along the rim of the window were calculated. The laws of movement of this experimental robot were researched which helped to configure engines that these robots use. Researches were made using Motion Analysis plugin of SolidWorks software. |
