This research papers investigates the relationship between EU innovation index and TOP 1000 EU companies by R&D expenditure. The main research object is EU companies with highest dynamic capabilities that lead to competitive advantage. To group EU countries various clustering algorithms were used. The main cluster contains companies with biggest R&D expenditure and 3 years R&D growth. The most interesting ideas came after adding additional data about CEO’s age, working duration, company foundation year, annual returns and others. These research aims that there is a statistically significant relationship with CEO’s age/working duration and firms R&D expenditure. |
