Abstract [eng] The aim of this paper is to design the additional creasing to facilitate the packaging compression that more of “Tetra Pak” packages would be sorted instead of getting in dump. It is based on the assumption that the presence of empty containers for easy compression, consumers would be more motivated to sort them household. There are information about laws and aims of EU and Lithuania related to waste disposal, sorting, processing, recycling. It also gives an overview of waste general statistics according to the latest data. There are information about studies and researches related to creasing. Next, there was made a research. There were handmade paper “Tetra Pak” samples with additional creasing and those samples were crashed by hands. It was found that the additional creasing elementscan help to facilitate the empty package compression. It was assumed that the packages are manufactured in “X”. This is a leading company in packaging and label production. The work carried out technological “Tetra Pak” packaging calculations, economic calculations, which help set the cost of the products, the necessary resources, evaluate the risks to workers. There are conclusion and recommendations for further research opportunities at the end of this paper.
