Abstract [eng] This Master thesis was written to introduce with the conception of EON and main drivers for developing the EON paradigm. Also spectral resource is studied when data bit rates reach 10 Gbps, 40 Gbps or even 100 Gbps. Results of Q factor relationship with optical reach, gap between channels Δf and demanded bit rates show how close to each other could be new channels formed in the flexible grid, that quality of data transmision wouldn‘t be worse than BER 10^-12. This level of the quality corresponds to Q factor = 7. Also it’s posible to say what maximum optical reach is available at each condition. To determine the quality level of the signals at the receiver end constellation diagrams were used.
