| Abstract [eng] |
Aim of thesis is to create controlling application for water pump motors which is able to identify typical failures in water networks. Global water resources, water pump motors and water controlling applications was analysed in this master„s thesis. Also typical deteriorations of water networks and water pumps causing damages at water networks was analysed. Aims of thesis was formed to identify faults and prevent the consequences at water distribution networks. Water pumps controlling systems was designed to maintain 5bar pressure in water pipes by controlling water pump motor speed from frequency inverter. Experimental water pump motors controlling system was able to identify water pipe leakages and obstructions from pressure in water pipe. Dry pump fault was identified from water pump motor torque and rotation speed during two experiments with water pump motor. |
