Abstract [eng] The work analyses state-of-the-art methods for asynchronous induction motors faults diagnosis and their merits and demerits. Three-phase asynchronous induction motor bearing faults are diagnosed using motor current signature analysis and vibration spectrum analysis methods. Turn-to-turn short circuits in motors stator windings and broken rotor bars are identified using motor current signature analysis method. The results of this research affirm, that three-phase asynchronous induction motors bearings faults can be reliably diagnosed using vibration spectrum analysis method and turn-to-turn short circuits in motors stator windings and broken rotor bars can be reliably identified using motor current signature analysis method.
