While requirements for truck body manufacturers are becoming stricter and stricter, it is necessary to design new products to be lighter, cheaper and stronger than before. It is possible with new materials, new methods of production and deep investigation of current construction. During investigation, there were minimal subframe longitudal and crossmembers thickness calculated. The dangerous areas of the subframe were found - in case of production of subframe with thinner longtitudal and crossmembers, these areas should be considered. There were calculations of static load from truck body, hard braking and hard turn cases made. |
