| Abstract [eng] |
In this project are research vehicle movements after impact with rail car on level crossing. The main aim of this study is to carry out how to make that car after impact move from railway to road side as soon as possible. In the first chapter the literature related with railway level crossing safety in Lithuania and EU is reviewed. Also research study related with rail car and vehicle collision on level crossings is reviewed and level crossings constructions are analyzed. In the second chapter is describes research methods and “PC – Crash 8.1” software using for the research study. In the third chapter carried out collisions with the computer software. Each collision case is analyzed in detail. In the fourth chapter computer based simulation results are checked using the law of quantity of motion and the law of conservation of energy. Verification calculations are carried out using “Matlab” software. In the fifth chapter the results are apply to certain level crossing and suggestions for reconstruction are present. Conclusions are based on given results. |
