Abstract [eng] |
In this research it is being considered how much influence does chassis resilience and inhibitory elements with different parameters, that is shock absorbers and coil springs, have on driving quality. Vehicles used for the research are two AUDI A4 AVANT with as identical as possible parameters, only mentioned element excluded. One of the vehicles is equipped with standard chassis modification and other with factory build modified sports modification with harder springs and better inhibitory shock absorbers. Test drives were made in special road course while using DL racing technology measuring equipment and wheel course meter and trying to repeat as many possible different driving conditions as possible. The results are validated by characteristics got from measuring stand for every element and compared with theoretical model with analytical solution of ¼ model. The results are: Sport (s-line) springs have more stiffness than standard 18% for front and 20% rear. That means, that more force is needed to press spring. However, sports spring has specified stiffness. It depends on nonlinear function. Basic front shock absorber stiffness is unequal 20% and rear – 30%. Sport shock absorbers are more stiff, but because of wear damage front elements have poor inhibitory function. Rear has 19% better inhibitory parameters that standard. Whole mass difference between vehicles 6,9kg (0,4%). Front axle vertical force differs - 4,7kg (0,5%). This inequality will not affect further research. |
