Abstract [eng] |
Main this master’s thesis goal is to perform motorcycle impact with side road barrier. A review of the safety of the rider and the safety measures found that the motorcycle rider is the least safe, the helmet protects the most of it, an overview of the standardization and testing of helmets. Examination of car accidents in Lithuania for recent years, found that the events involving motorcycles, consists of about 10% percent of all auto accidents in the country. A review of road safety barriers, showed that in Lithuania the most popular road barriers are H1 and N2 type, they choose to perform barrier model. After the simulation, and after a barrier research using LS- Dyna program allowing the motorcycle to hit barriers for 50 km/h, 70 km/h, and 115 km/h, 130 km/h speed and 20° -30° angle were obtained and given in the work CSI and HIC values. They are a good indication of the model partitioning ability to perform crash simulations and get the criteria pertaining to the likelihood of experiencing severe rider injury. |
