The interest of companies‘ social responsibility is growing, but the organization's management policy of workers in the (self) involvement and social responsibility‘s relationship is too little exploited. Workers‘ (self) involvement becomes a hot topic in the business world, as companies, seeking effectively exploit the principles of social responsibility in business, gane the great importance not only by employees‘ professional skills, but also by their active involvement in the implementation of social responsibility in business initiatives. The object of the work is the employees‘ (self) involvement in the implementation of social responsibility initiatives. The aim - to investigate employees‘ (self) involvement in the implementation of social responsibility initiatives. In order to achieve the goal of the work, there are certain tasks of the work: to examine the theoretical aspects of social responsibility; to reveal employees‘ (self) involvement in the social responsibility‘s theoretical assumptions; to investigate employees‘ (self) involvement in social initiatives for health service providers. Scientific analysis of the literature revealed that the social responsibility principles are related not only to the company's ethical and transparent behavior, and attention to the interested parties, but also with respect for human rights, the environment, compliance with legal standards. The analysis of the implementation of the areas of social responsibility found that in order to evaluate the expression of corporate social responsibility, it should be based on four isolated areas and on the use of principles: social responsibility in the workplace, in the environment, in the society – community, and in the market. A review of various researches highlighted determinants of social responsibility initiatives in the company: staff emotional commitment to the organization, energy, working environment, civic behavior of the organization. For deeper analysis it is appropriate to include factors such as dedication, evaluation and recognition of immersion, personal responsibility, communication, involvement in the ongoing processes. To conclude the empirical test results, it can be said that there is the moderate positive correlation between the expression of social responsibility and employees' (self) involvement.The results showed that employees' (self) involvement into social responsibilities is strong, and most expressed by: emotional commitment, exuberance, and civic behavior of the organization. Study of social responsibility revealed that in all analyzed aspects social responsibilities were higher than average and there were no low valued areas. Based on the analysis of scientific literature and the results of a quantitative study, recommendations of the staff’s (self) involvement in the implementation of social responsibility initiatives in health services are prepared, that make proposals to companies to strengthen the staff’s (self) involvement into social responsibility initiatives. |
