Master's graduate Project analyses the subjective personal and social wellbeing of Lithuanian youth. This analysis shows that youth of Lithuania has medium life satisfaction and also is characterized by lack of trust in induviduals living around them. According to Lithuanian youth the perspective of the future of Lithuania is uncertain. Theoretical part of the project presents a theoretical analysis of youh wellbeing and youth policy. The theoretical part deals with the well-being of young people and how the well-being is conditioned by various factors. The problem of the research - how young people assess their subjective personal and social wellbeing? Research subject - Lithuanian youth subjective personal and social wellbeing. The aim of the research - Analyze the Lithuanian youth subjective personal and social wellbeing. Objectives of the research - The social wellbeing conceptualization and operationalization. Perform a secondary analysis of the data and analyze the Lithuanian youth subjective personal and social wellbeing. Research methods - document analysis, quantitative research - secondary survey data analysis. The research uses Lithuanian data set from European Social Survey. Results of the research - Lithuanian youth satisfaction is medium, though majority of respondents stated that they are more happy than unhappy. On the other hand, it is believed that the situation in Lithuania is getting worse rather than better. Youth Policy Framework law is not capable of ensuring social welfare to Lithuanian youth. |
