Abstract [eng] |
The Master’s thesis deals with the effect of biodiesel on the modern common rail injection systems. Increasingly growing biodiesel content in diesel may differently affect the latest diesel engines in the European Union countries. Therefore, this study will investigate the change in spray characteristics with increasing ratio of biodiesel with pure diesel fuel. The Master’s thesis consists of four parts. The first and second part, based on the literature performed theoretical common rail fuel system overview. It is also analyzing and testing for diesel and biodiesel and mixtures of physical settings. In the practical part of the work are adapted methods, which were described on the theoretical part. A study conducted to determine the amount of fuel sprayed sprayer with electromagnetic and piezoelectric actuator. The study used to carry out the “Bosch EPS 815” nozzle tester. The study used only the “Bosch” company manufactured injectors with different gears: electromagnetic and piezoelectric. Thesis also describes the survey methodology, according to which the entire world check’s these sprayers. The results suggest a solution that would allow to use of the desired fuel mixture suitable to common rail fuel systems. |
