The point of the study was to create a modern set of living room furniture, using thin layered materials and get slender, yet strong plywood, while cutting down costs. Tasks: research the dependency of the composite element's strength on the type of wood, adhesive, the number of layers and reinforcing materials. Object of the study - walnut, beech and pine veneer, glued together using polyurethane adhesive, dispersed polyvinyl acetate adhesive and epoxy resin. Reinforcing materials: carbon and glass fiber. |
