Appearing new requirements for thermoregulating properties of the active leisure clothing enforce to look for the new implementation methods. During the active leisure and the sport, the rising temperature of the body can have the negative influence on the physical state of the human. The clothing having the cooltouch effect can reduce the termal stress. Therefore, the aim of this project is to investigate the cooltouch polyester knitted fabrics. The polymeric resins and the PCM materials were used to provide the cooltouch effect for the polyester double layer knitted fabrics. The termoregulatory effectiveness properties and moisture management of these materials were established. The obtained results had proved that the fabrics, with xylitol, had the cooltouch properties that can be improved by the encapsulation of the PCM. The knitted fabrics with the PCM had the best moisture transport and termal resistance properties. |
