| Abstract [eng] |
The purpose of the study was to conduct a research on image zooming interpolation, where investigation of different image interpolation is carried out and a new method is implemented to obtain a good image quality after zooming. The implementation of existing work was executed and analyzed based upon which the new hybrid algorithm was implemented to improve the quality of a zoomed image. The results were compared using the PSNR, SNR, Contrast, energy, homogeneity, correlation, histogram error and process time of an image. The aim of the thesis was achieved by providing the improvement in image quality factors when they are zoomed to a specific zooming factor. |
