Abstract [eng] Development of information technology leads to changes in education. Conventional traditional learning is no longer sufficient for all modern students. In order to develop individual learning skills, computer literacy, to involve students into active educational activities it is necessary to use learning tools and technologies that enable innovative learning methods. Lithuanian and foreign scientists have extensively analyzed the advantages of cloud computing and its application in education. Therefore, it becomes important to analyze opportunities of innovative learning methods using cloud computing. The aim of this study is to explore options of innovative learning methods of using cloud computing tools, to prepare and test measures of the use of cloud computing scenarios and methodology. To achieve the aim of the paper the innovative learning methods are characterized, cloud computing tools and their application in the realization of innovative teaching methods are overviewed. In order to clarify the learning approach to cloud computing measures it is carried out the study of the need to apply to education. The survey showed that virtual learning is relevant and therefore it is prepared virtual learning environment project in the paper. According to its participants' needs and functional requirements it is designed a virtual learning environment by cloud computing tools enabling innovative learning approaches to education. Measures designed for application, learning scenarios and methodology are prepared for their application. Virtual learning environment is tested in educational institutions. The experiment results were analyzed after the application of virtual learning environment in assessment study. The analysis of the results showed that learners welcomes innovative learning methods to enable the use of virtual learning environment.
