Abstract [eng] |
The aim of the thesis is to explore mechanical properties of steel and composite HSQ beams. Master’s thesis contains four parts. The literature is reviewed in the first part: composite beams investigated by other authors, various models of concrete in compression. Design of beams according to Eurocode is carried out in the second part. In this part the variation of steel cross-section area depending on various factors (forces acting, depth and width of the beam) is evaluated. The third part deals with composite HSQ and trapezoid beams. Calculations are made in this part. The cross-sections are designed in accordance with main mechanical principles. Finite element analysis is carried out using “ABAQUS” software. The results of calculations and finite element analysis are compared. Composite HSQ beams and trapezoid beams are also compared. The fourth part deals with steel and composite HSQ beams. It consists of several steps: practical experiment, theoretical calculations using plastic and elastic stress distribution, finite element analysis. Theoretical results are compared to experimental. To summarize master’s thesis 5 main conclusions are given. The main part of the thesis consists of 98 pages of text, 119 figures, 15 tables and 33 references. |
