This master’s thesis analysed Cor-Ten steel use in construction of buildings options. An overview of Cor-Ten steel composition, classification, mechanical properties, and the use of the other. The factors of 3% NaCl and Na2SO4 solution effects Cor-Ten steel sample surface colour and texture variation when the ambient temperature changes cyclically from -20 to + 20 ° C. Set Cor-Ten steel samples of colour and surface texture variations due to aggressive environmental samples to investigate the surface of chemical compounds. In research section also made the facade and roof, using Cor-Ten steel, assessment of alternative solutions (choice of alternatives: copper, aluminium and ordinary steel), based on an evaluation criteria system and method using multiple criteria. Using multiple criteria evaluation method selected rational solution to the facade and roofing installation of alternative options.
