group work is becoming increasingly important in modern society. group activities and team work are becoming more and more important in work environment, as they allow to get better results and complete difficult, multidisciplinary projects. In order to achive better learning results, group work is also encouraged at schools and universities. due to virtualization and fast andvancements in computing, all the elements of group activities can be performed using modern technologies. upon analyzing tools of cloud computing, it was found out that they fullfil the requirements for conveniently organizing group activities. in order to create a scenario for group activities, the optimal tools had to be chosen. thus, an algoritm for choosing the best distance work environment was created. using this algoritm, two scenarios for application of cloud computing technologies for group activities were created. these scenarios were used in one module at kaunas University of technology for project work of students. afterwards, their oppinion on using these cloud computing tools for performing group work was analyzed. |
