Abstract [eng] Globalisation is understood as the advancement of human needs on a global scale. Previously, communication used to take place over long distances, using analogue methods. As a process, globalisation is also influenced by several factors, such as business and work environments, economy, social and political resources. This whole includes global project coordination methods (Alami, 2016). In scientific literature, numerous causes for successes or failures of project management are discussed, however, finding a general agreement on the correct way to manage projects of various types proves difficult. That especially depends on the position from which the problems are sought to identify. Therefore, subjectivity in research of this sort becomes an integral part of it. It is obvious that projects fail due to extremely varied and different reasons but in order to take control of the situation, it is necessary to systematically analyse and set the criteria according to which successful projects can be defined (Montequin, Cousillas, Alvarez ir Villanueva, 2016).
