Abstract [eng] |
The topic of open source innovation is becoming more and more widely discussed in modern literature, mainly because businesses have started applying them more openly. Companies are promoting innovation not only to satisfy customers‘ and suppliers‘ needs, but also to encourage innovative solutions, for instance, development strategy. While analyzing business models and systems, the benefits of innovation are emphasized, as well as main problems and reasons for innovation. The problem arises that new research and development projects, idea generating require additional finances, human and time resources. During the implementation of innovations, companies attempt to shift from traditional business management systems to the ones that are consumer-oriented, therefore, it is vital to alter internal business processes. Different business models require different innovative systems, therefore, differences between business systems must be observed and cannot be omitted. Up until today, no common open source innovation measurement system that could be applied to different types of business models (based on companies’ characteristics), has been created. |
