Abstract [eng] |
Main topic of this paper is research of direct secret key generation from finger vein patterns without using comparison with an enrolled template. Finger vein images are processed using Miura et at. "Repeated Line Tracking Method" for primary vein pattern extraction, finger vein network image is created by using mathematical morphology function set and secret key is generated by "Contour Trace Iteration Number" method proposed in this paper. The proposed method is tested with a finger vein image database containing 240 images and a main conclusion is made that short constant value secret keys could be generated by using the proposed method. |
