This work contains a brief description of the research methodology of the rural homestead planting composite and artistic means of expression; the analysis of researched planned construction homesteads that were established during the period of 1930 – 1940, their planned and spatial structure, the layout of protective greeneries and their plant assortment; discussion concerning composite peculiarities of flower and decorative gardens, localization of garden plants and vegetable beds as well as the harmony of homestead silhouettes with surrounding rural landscape. |
