Quality improvement in learning is an aspiration in traditional and non-formal education. To improve the quality of distance learning there is a need to use “more intelligent” learning environments. These environments have to ensure students’ activity encouragement and help to teachers. Software agents in virtual learning environments (VLE) are a relatively new phenomenon. VLE Moodle has a lot of tools, plug-ins, but this environment does not use software agents for students and teachers. In this paper is designed a system of software agents for VLE Moodle in one training module level. The system is designed to provide support to students and teachers informing them about events and thus to improve the quality of distance learning. Also, for testing purposes, there are realized some students and teachers pilot software agents. |
