Civil engineering structure aspect master‘s thesis aim is to perform scientific research on load-bearing structures and to apply one‘s knowledge in designing these structures. Design process is based on Construction Technical Regulations and other legal documents valid in the Republic of Lithuania. Master’s final thesis consists of five main parts: 1. Construction regulations – where a list containing Construction Technical Regulations and other legal documents that were used in the thesis was composed; 2. Architectural part – where all architectural solutions are presented; 3. Structural part – where calculations, load estimation and the design itself of a composite column, wooden arch, steel beam and drilled pile foundation were carried out. Using “Autodesk Robot Structural Analysis” software 3D model of a building was created. 4. Scientific research of structures – a designing of a composite column with fire simulation was carried out and fire resistance of the structure was determined. 5. Technological part – all the necessary processes needed in the installation of a composite column were described. Also work safety requirements and full estimate of expenditure needed were presented. |
