Abstract [eng] |
A concrete paver is a concrete element to be assembled, which is used as a surface finishing material. In production of pavers only materials of appropriate exploitation features and characteristics must be used. The objective of the thesis is to research the impact of chemical additives and fillers on mechanical characteristics of pavers. To this end, the Lithuanian and foreign literature sources were analysed, methods of research were investigated. Concrete pavers of three different composition were used for the research. Cement, dried sand, granite screenings, gravel and crushed stone, plasticizer additive and water were used to complete the research. Based on the research methodology, the density of products, splitting tensile strength, compressive strength, general water absorption were established during the research. The experimental part of the thesis includes graphical presentation of the obtained results of the research and they are compared with each other. The thesis consists of six part: Introduction, literature review, research methodology, the experimental part, conclusions, and bibliography. The thesis contains 66 pages, 23 pictures, 26 tables, 26 bibliographical sources. |
