Abstract [eng] Master's thesis examined the administrative purpose nine-storey building, which is located in Utena city. Under part of the building is the basement, which is equipped with heating point, electrical paneling, server and two warehouses. In the final work on purpose to reduce the use of drinking water the building is equipped with rainwater collection systems, which will replace the part of the drinking water. It is also equipped with a rainwater usage system with underground water tank, which is constantly augmented by rain water, and if the rainwater will not be enough to fill capacity, water tank will be filled with water from the water supply network. Rain water collected from the roof and facade. Daily water used in some devices may not meet hygienic warranties, so the installation of such a system need to consider the fact that in no way rain water will be mixed with drinking water. Before the experimental part the amount of water was estimated, which is necessary for the building needs, taking into account the number of staff and equipment. The average consumption of water per hour flow rate is 0.0508 m3/h. For the examined administrative building needs a toilet cistern water content is 444.64 m3/ year and lawn watering 975.17 m3/ year. Total building water demand is 1419.81 m3/year. The trial indicated that most of the rain water is collected by using perforated plate sheet with diamond-shaped holes. With this plate, at varying intensity rain is possible to collect about 40% of the total water. In Utena year falls 650 mm rainfall. After the installation of rainwater collection system on the facade will be collected 425.71 m3 of rain water per year. From the roof of the building will be collected 342.48 m3 of rain water. Summarizing the results, we can say that these two rainwater collection system will collect 768.19 m3 of water. The price of drinking water (for companies and organizations) is currently 1.04 Є/m3. The calculations revealed that daily water consumption costs for company is 4,05 Є, during the year 1478.25 Є. Instalation of rainwater collection system will save 798.92 Є/year. The relevant administrative building has designed rainwater collection and use system, also domestic sewage system. Rainwater is collected in a 120m3, for the administrative building water from accumulation tank will be enough for one month. Municipal sewage drained to the city sewage networks.
