The final Master’s thesis analyses the implementation of the Lithuanian employment policy and the problems, faced, while implementing the measures of the employment policy. The project analyses the selected Jonava Department of Kaunas Local Labour Exchange. The relevance of the project – employment and unemployment of residents becomes one of the most pressing social issues in the world. The growth of unemployment as of unused employment opportunities disrupts economic and social processes in society. As unemployment rate reaches 11 percentage, there is a threat for public order, stability in society. |
