Abstract [eng] Final Masters project analises manufacturing strategy options in states printing industry. Theoretical part address changes in manufacturing system, analysis conception of manufacturing strategy. Furthermore distinguishes main manufacturing strategies, competitive advantages and decisions categories which have impact constructing a strategy plan for a company. Also importance of quality control and environmental protection in company. In the second chapter of the project activity of chosen printing house is examined – highlighted main manufacturing processes and consistency of completing operations. Created SWOT analysis matrix of chosen company, which allows to evaluate strengths of the company helps to take advantage of arising opportunities. Gathered and analyzed statistical data of Lithuanian printing subsector shows that printing industry is recovering from the 2008 global financial crisis. Taking into consideration manufacturing distribution of printing materials, the chosen manufacturing type is production of packages. In the third chapter technological equipment is selected ( taking in account the manufacturing technology of chosen package) and assessed the economical utility of applied innovations. The analysis of literature reveals the important factors that need to be observed in order to form long term strategy of the company. Evaluation of investment project showed that purchase of new equipment is right investment. It is planned that it should pay off in 4 years and 6 months.
