Abstract [eng] |
In the contemporary educational system, continuous professional development of educators is essential to ensure high-quality education. The digitalization and expansion of distance learning opportunities have opened new perspectives for teachers' professional growth. However, educators face challenges in selecting appropriate professional development activities that align with their individual needs and school strategic goals. The aim of this Master's thesis is to develop a distance learning information system to facilitate the professional development process for educational institution staff. The system will enable teachers to individually register for training courses, plan their professional development, and track their progress, considering their needs and school goals. The thesis analyzes the concept of teacher professional development, investigates the need for a distance learning system among educational institution staff, and reviews the possibilities of distance learning environments and tools. Based on this analysis, a distance learning information system is designed and implemented, aimed at developing the professional and general competencies of educational institution staff. Finally, the system is evaluated, and recommendations for its further development and improvement are provided. The research results indicate that the developed distance learning information system can help improve the professional development process by providing teachers with more flexibility, personalization, and opportunities for self-paced learning. It is expected that this system will contribute to the improvement of educational quality and the promotion of teachers' professional growth. |
