Abstract [eng] The master's thesis examines the problem of financial literacy education in pre-school age. The topic is relevant because in Lithuania the education of financial literacy is included in the curricula of educational subjects only in higher classes. Therefore, pre-school teachers experience various difficulties while educating financial literacy of children of this age. A study was conducted to reveal the difficulties faced by pre-school teachers who teach pre-school children financial literacy. After analyzing the research data, it was found that the content of financial literacy education is unclear for pre-school teachers, it is difficult to find the necessary information, there is a lack of methodological recommendations and teaching materials. The final master's project examined the pre-school children’s possibilities of financial literacy education using virtual educational tools. The conducted research showed that it is expedient to create scenarios of educational activities using virtual teaching/learning tools, because it is difficult for teachers to find suitable virtual teaching/learning tools, there is a lack of methodological recommendations on how to teach the financial literacy of children of this age. The problem turned out to be insufficient pre-school children’s education of financial literacy.
