The 21st century is the age of technology, and we cannot imagine a modern school without information technology and its use in the classroom or in distance learning. Traditional educational methods are being replaced by new and active methods that encourage students to think critically and problem-solving, to take responsibility for their learning and to actively participate in learning activities through communication, cooperation and problem solving.The aim of the final project is to encourage primary school teachers to use active learning methods to engage, improve achievement through an active learning framework. In order to achieve this goal, the specificities of primary school children's learning and active learning methods have been analyzed and detailed, the possibilities of using distance learning technologies to enable active learning have been analyzed, the possibilities of using virtual learning environments have been analyzed, a distance learning IT system has been developed that allows to supplement traditional teaching with interactive activities, to learn using active learning methods, and a comprehensive material with a bank of tasks has been made available to teachers that they are able to use freely, and to fill in the tasks they have developed. |
